After a wet morning the rain went away to give a warm and sunny afternoon, which was just perfect for our Hog Roast barbecue. Our congratulations go to the organizers for such a good barbi, and also for arranging the weather so well!

Team Ogre Side by Side with their Side by Sides. Except of course they had to make two rows as no known lens could have coped with all on one line if you see what we mean

Santa preparing for the boys & girls who don't do as they are told.                                                                                                                                in his sleigh.

Santa taking aim as one of his helpers makes a run for it in his sleigh.

Nobody said Murray was a stick in the mud, but he was, until Martin came to the rescue!

Hurry up and get me out of here … Nick B will be here soon ! What do you mean take it out of neutral ??

Paul “Elmer” F But Murray I’ve looked all over the field for it.

I’m not budging until I get my dummy back.  I spat it out by the clubhouse...
I bet those trappers have hidden it !

John P presenting Paul F, Sutton Gun Club's chairman, with a windup gift of a walking talking gun toting replica, to remind him of his rough shooting days, and to say thank you for your sterling work as chairman over the last 2 years and the year to come.

One of the most successful wind up's came about on the Medway Spares shoot when a number of members arrived sporting 'Martin M Fan Club' T'shirts.

We were very lucky with the weather and managed to avoid most of the rain.

They Must Have thought it was Christmas.

They came to shoot but no prize there.

So what do they do, they each win a raffle prize!!!

No wonder there was none for me.

On second looks I am not sure it wasn’t robbery.

A group from Sutton Gun Club had a 150 bird shoot at West Midlands Shooting Ground (Hodnet) on Sat 12th Nov.
High gun was Graham C with 120, with Brian F a close second on 118,
Considering all of Brum was In a deluge of rain we had a very dry and warm day, and I must mention we all enjoyed shooting the low flying pink clays on the last but one stand ........ not! 😂

Hodnet 150 bird summer trophy shoot,
High gun was Graham C on 120
(With a bad back, supposedly :-o)
Second was Tim D on 107
Third was Brian F on 102.
Other scores were in the high 80's-90's

The weather was kind to us with just a light shower mid afternoon but was warm, it was a very testing and knackering shoot, but will be doing it again in November.
(Obviously we are gluttons for punishment)
